I am Nirmala Aravind, from Karnataka,India.

I started blogging only after I was married in 2009. Realized it interests me to pen down my travel and cooking experiences. Hence this blog.

  1. Try making some “karela bhanrwa” (stuffed hagalakai – bitter gourd)…there are many recipes for the same…but you must use the right one.

    Ensure that you slit the karelas, make a nice filling, tie it with string (common bili dhara)…try it…the dish is extremely tasty if you can make the filling proportionate and don’t overcook the karela…
