Movie is all about how Nelson Mandela after being released from Jail, democratically elected  president of South Africa, wants to unite whites and blacks of South Africa through  Rugby game.Rugby being his game of interest.Springboks was considered team of white South Africa. Mandela does whatever he can to make this team as South African team irrespective of blacks and whites. He inspires captain of the team Pienaar by his own example. He succeeds in uniting by winning the Rugby World Cup in 1995 that was held in South Africa.

Invictus quote that Mandela tells to the captain and to himself  in the Movie,

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Its a good movie. Dont miss it
