Green gram Dosa (Pesarattu)

Green gram 3-5 cups
Green Chillies 6-7
Ginger (ginger paste 1-2 spoons)
For Garnishing
Onion & Coriander finely chopped.
  1. Soak green gram for 5-6 hrs(I had soaked it in the morning to make dosas in the evening).
  2. Grind soaked green gram dal with green chillies,ginger & salt.
  3. After grinding, add Jeera and mix well.
  4. Heat pan, Smear oil on the pan with onion to avoid sticking of dosa.
  5. Do not make this dosa on low flames. Pan needs to be heated well.
  6. Put dosa batter on the pan and quickly spread in circular shape.

Garnish dosa with finely chopped onion and coriander to add more taste.
Green gram dosa can be eaten with normal chutneys or ginger chutney.
